Advanced Integrated Myofascial Therapy
Our 2 advanced workshops offer students who have completed the Certification in iMFT an opportunity to broaden their experience with new fascial techniques as well as deepen their understanding and application of MFR.
There are 2 advanced workshops, both 2 days long.
Advanced Lower Body iMFT
Prerequisite: iMFT 3
Objectives
The participant will:
- learn advanced techniques for the ankle, knee and foot
- learn fascial approaches for the pelvic floor and deep hip rotators
- learn advanced fascial approaches for the erector spinae muscles
- learn affective assessment and soft tissue skills for spinal rotations and sacral nutation
- learn advanced rebounding techniques
- refine therapeutic dialoguing and assessment skills incorporating movement, feedback, visual, palpatory and intuitive skills
- experience and receive valuable treatment an obtain a certificate of attendance that can be used for CPD application where applicable. Please contact your own organisation for further details.
Advanced Upper Body iMFT
Prerequisite: iMFT 3
Objectives
The participant will:
- learn effective fascial techniques for the hands, wrist and elbow
- learn advanced techniques for the shoulder girdle, anterior neck, and thoracic cage
- learn advanced fascial techniques for the cranium including intra oral and nasal work
- learn advanced fascial techniques for the cervical spine
- learn advanced rebounding techniques
- refine therapeutic dialoguing and assessment skills incorporating movement, feedback, visual, palpatory and intuitive skills
